Rakhi Sawant’s Mother's Cancer Operation Is Successful; Thanks Salman Khan

Bigg Boss contestant Rakhi Sawant's mother Jaya Sawant who was undergoing cancer treatment had a successful surgery today. The news was shared by Sawant on her Instagram profile. Her mother was earlier taken to the operation theatre in a wheelchair, Sawant shared a video of her and her mother thanking Salman Khan for helping with her mother's treatment.

In the video, Sawant can be seen telling her mother to not worry and asking her to say something to the camera. Sawant's mother thanked Salman Khan and his family for helping in her surgery and even called him an angel.

Jaya Sawant can be seen saying, "I join my hands to Salman Khan. I would pray to Jesus and wonder if I would die without treatment as we have no money. Jesus listened to us and sent an angel in the form of Salman Khan. He and his entire family have stood by me to help me get through this operation. I thank God and Saman Khan."

In the same video, Sawant also thanked Khan and said that he was the one to save her mother. "You have given us the world’s best doctor," said the actor. She also went ahead to say that she prays for every household to have sons like you and Sohail Khan, and said that she thanks their parents for giving her family two angels.

In another video, Sawant also thanked her mother's doctor for finishing the operation successfully.

Sawant had also thanked Sohail Khan earlier for boosting her career by making sure that she was a part of Bigg Boss 14. The actor had entered the 14th season of the show as a challenger. She established her hold in the show and emerged as one of the most entertaining contestants while other wild card contestants kept getting evicted.

After the show ended, she had been taking care of her mother and kept sharing her health update on her Instagram.
