Priyanka Chopra presenter at BAFTA Awards this year: Actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas is all set to present at the upcoming 74 British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) 2021, scheduled to be held on April 10 and 11 at Royal Albert Hall in London. Her last outing onscreen The White Tiger has also been nominated in two categories. She also executive-produced Netflix's adaptation of Aravind Adiga's Booker Prize-winning novel.
Chopra will be presenting the prestigious awards this year after announcing the Oscars 2021 nomination with her husband and pop star Nick Jonas. They announced the 93rd Academy Awards nominations on March 15.
Currently in London, Chopra took to Instagram Stories to repost from the official BAFTA Instagram page, announcing the news. "So honoured and excited to be presenting at the #EEBAFTAs this Sunday!" she wrote. She will present the EE BAFTA category which honours new talent.
The official Instagram and Twitter accounts of BAFTA shared the news on Thursday night. The caption on the post read, "We're thrilled to announce that the category presenters at the BAFTAs will include Tom Hiddleston, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, James McAvoy, Cynthia Erivo and so many more! Tune in to see them all on Sunday."

She also revealed that she is one of the presenters, along with Phoebe Dynevor, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Cynthia Erivo, Hugh Grant, Richard E. Grant, Tom Hiddleston, Felicity Jones and others. She will join the ceremony virtually with hosts from Los Angeles that include Rose Byrne, Andra Day, Anna Kendrick, and Renee Zellweger.
Meanwhile, on getting a BAFTA nomination, Chopra congratulated team The White Tiger and wrote, "What a proud moment for Indian talent with 2 BAFTA nominations for an ALL INDIAN STAR CAST! Ecstatic for you, Adarsh Gourav, you are so deserving of this recognition, and congratulations Ramin Bahrani, so well deserved." In a subsequent tweet, she added: "I feel extremely proud to have been an executive producer on this movie! Let's get it!"

On the work front, Chopra has some exciting projects lined up including Matrix 4, Text For You and Citadel. She made two back-to-back appearances in 2016 and the following year at the Oscars. Last year, she attended the Golden Globes and the Grammys.
