Who Is Naomi Biden's Fiancé, Peter Neal? Joe Biden's Granddaughter Soon To Be Married

Peter Neal and Naomi Biden will be married later this year. In a tweet shared on Tuesday, April 5, Biden confirmed her White House wedding with Neal.

Naomi Biden is the granddaughter of US Vice President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden. She is a 28-year-old lawyer in Washington, DC, and the daughter of Hunter Biden and Kathleen Buhle. She shared the news through her Twitter saying, “Peter and I are endlessly grateful to my Nana and Pop for the opportunity to celebrate our wedding at the White House. We can’t wait to make our commitment to one another official and for what lies ahead.”

According to Elizabeth Alexander, a spokeswoman for US First Lady Jill Biden, their wedding is slated for November 19, and further information will be disclosed publicly in the coming months. Alexander also disclosed on Twitter that Biden and Neal's wedding reception will be held at the White House.

Peter Neal was born on April 17, 1997, which means in 2022 he will be 24 years old. His family was originally from Los Angeles, California, but later relocated to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. His parents are orthopaedic surgeons by profession. Eliot Neal and Betsy Neal are his two siblings.

In 2018, Neal graduated from George Washington University with a degree in Magna Cum Laude. Following that, he majored in Political Communication and minored in Journalism and Mass Communication. He will be awarded a doctorate of law (J.D.) degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He worked in the administration and bureaucracy of the United States. During his high school years, he worked as an executive assistant to the mayor of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He also interned at the Obama White House throughout his time there.

Peter Neal and Naomi Biden's relationship:

A mutual friend introduced Peter and Naomi together. They began dating at that point. Neal proposed to her near his childhood home in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, on September 24, 2021, and they were married on September 24, 2021.  Naomi Biden recalled in an interview that Joe Biden used to introduce Neal as her friend. After a while, he began referring to him as her daughter's friend, who is a boy, and now he refers to him as "Naomi's boyfriend." On Instagram, Peter Neal has 4706 followers, and he often posts pictures and videos with his fiance.
