Referring to the epic Ramayana, actor-filmmaker Kangana Ranaut took to her Instagram stories and wrtoe that even in ancient times kings would visit remote parts of the country to hear what their subjects are talking or discussing. "This exercise is a part of administration, biggest example is in Ramayana, during one such visit lord Rama got to know about Maa Sita’s perception among general people when he heard them secretly," she added.

She furtherwrote that it is not a big deal if the king wants to know about the whereabouts of antisocial elements, the general issues people are facing and their mindset. "It is his right, prerogative and business to keep his eyes and ears open," she continued. At the end of her Instagram story, Ranaut made it clear that she was not talking about Pegasus. "So hyenas stop crying foul and No I am not talking about #pegasus Ha ha ha," she wrote.

Last month, Ranaut's request to renew her passport was rejected by the Bombay High Court. This was because of the ongoing sedation case against her. Taking to her Instagram stories, the Manikarnika actor alleged that the 'Mahavinashkari' government is harassing her indirectly. A bench that consisted of the Justices PB Varale and SP Tavade said that Ranaut’s application was 'vague' as it did not place all relevant facts on record. Click here for more.
