Here's a look into Vakeel Saab cast: The trailer of Vakeel Saab was launched on the occasion of Holi yesterday. Produced by Dil Raju, directed by Venu Sriram, the film features Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan in the lead The film, which is set for a release on April 9 this year, is a remake of 2016 Hindi film Pink, featuring Taapsee Pannu and Amitabh Bachchan.
Pink was considered a path-breaking film that questioned social understanding of consent and patriarchy's outlook on male aggression and sexual assault. In Vakeel Saab, Kalyan seems to be essaying a role that was essayed by Bachchan in the original film, albeit with a twist, who will be playing the parts portrayed by Pannu, Kirti Kulhari and Andrea Tariang.

1. Anjali
Anjali made her debut with Telugu film Photo in 2006. The actor who holds a degree in mathematics worked in short films before entering the film industry. Anjali has gained popularity through her film Kattradhu Thamizh starring Jiva. Known for playing performance-oriented roles, the actor has won the Filmfare Award in the Best Actress category- Tamil, for her films Angaadi There and Engaeyum Eppothum. She also bagged the Tamil Nadu Film Award for Angadi Theru.
2. Nivetha Thomas
Starting her career as a child actor, Nivetha Thomas acted in the popular Sun TV serial My Dear Bootham. Thomas made her film debut through a Malayalam film Veruthe Oru Bharya, featuring Jayaram and Gopika. For the film, she won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist in 2008. Being a multilingual actor, she has acted in several South Indian language films like Ninnu Kori, Brochevarevarura, Rajinikanth starrer Darbar and many more.
The actor holds a Bachelor of Architecture graduate from SRM University. She can speak six languages including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, English and French.
3. Ananya Nagalla
The software engineer- turned- actor made her film debut in 2019, with the Telugu language film, Mallesham. She also worked in a short film by MR Productions called Shaadi and got nominated for the Best Actress at SIIMA awards.
4. Shruti Haasan
Singer-actor Shruti Haasan will be reportedly seen in the film Vakeel Saab in an extended cameo role, where she plays Pawan Kalyan's wife. Popular for her films like Ramaiya Vastavaiya, D-Day, Gabbar Is Back and Welcome Back, the actor has received the Filmfare nominations for Best Female Playback Singer - Tamil and has bagged a Filmfare award for Best Female Playback Singer - Telugu in 2014.
For her roles in Anaganaga O Dheerudu, a Telugu fantasy film, and Arivu, a Tamil science fiction action film, Haasan won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut- South.
5. Anasuya Bharadwaj
Winner of two SIIMA Awards, a Filmfare Award South, and an IIFA Utsavam Award for her films Kshanam and Rangasthalam, Anasuya Bharadwaj is a Telugu television presenter. She has worked as a news presenter on Sakshi TV and has also shown her talent as a dubbing artist in Vedam and Paisa films.
Bharadwaj is appearing in the film Vakeel Saab in a supporting role.
