Panchayat season 2 release date and time has been much-awaited by the viewers, especially after the ending season of season one, where Abhishek is seen sitting at the water tank with a girl. Indicating a budding romance. However, no romance is without twists and the rule applies here too.

The trailer of the show was released recently. It opens with the villagers, including Abhishek, played by Jitendra Kumar, trying to set up a CCTV camera in the village. It goes on to introduce the old characters and a couple of new ones. This time, Abhishek is familiar with the place and the routine he has set but every day seems like a new tale in the village.

From protest to toilet seat issue, the upcoming season seems to be a promising mixture of drama, emotions and comedy. Moreover, it will portray the friendship that each one of them has developed over the first season and it is likely to strengthen over the second one. The show like its first season will finely show the grassroots politics in India with a satirical tone.

The other characters of the show include Pradhan, Bikas, Praladh and Manju Devi. The trailer ends with the four friends belonging to different age groups cheering to the night with beer bottles while Pradhan talks about how alcohol is bad for health, to which Abhishek agrees and asks the group to cut down. This leads to the entire group ">breaking down with laughter.

The cast includes Deepak Kumar Mishra, Kumar, Raghuvir Yadav, Neena Gupta, Biswapati Sarkar, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy and Pooja Singh. The show first premiered in 2020. It revolved around Abhishek Tripathi, who is an engineering graduate finding it difficult to get a job, as per his qualification. So, he takes a break to crack the competitive examination. While doing so, he decides to take up the job of secretary for a panchayat in the isolated village of Phullera in Uttar Pradesh.
