pallavi joshi vivek agnihotri relationship: Filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri’s film The Kashmir Files is doing very well at the box office. In fact, it been made tax-free in five states of India to encourage more people to watch it. The film is based on the persecution and the subsequent exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the Kashmir valley in the early 90s. The star cast of the movie includes actors like Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, Mithun Chakraborty and Chinmay Mandlekar in the lead.

The film also features Agnihotri’s wife and critically acclaimed actor Pallavi Joshi in a key role. She is a recipient of two National Film Awards and is married to filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri since 1997. Where did the two meet? What's their love story? Let's find out

1. Agnihotri spoke to ShaadiTimes and recalled that he first met Joshi at a rock concert in the early 90s. The meeting was through common friends. “Though I didn’t know her personally I knew there was something we shared in common – I think it was the fact that we both were tremendously bored of the concert,” he said.
2. Pallavi Joshi, at the same interview, said that she was thirsty and he got her something to drink.
3. She, however, added that she didn’t like him very much when they first met. This was because she thought he was snobbish since he was an ad-man.
4. Gradually, the two connected at both personal and professional levels and started getting along better.
5. They dated for three years. Post that, they tied the knot on June 28, 1997, in Mumbai, in the presence of their families and close friends.
6. They have two children now.
7. In an interview, they also said that they collaborate on professional projects, work together and this is also one of the reasons behind their relationship's longevity. As far as I am concerned working together has had a positive impact on our marriage. You are in constant contact and as we both enjoy and respect each other’s professional abilities,” Vivek remarked.

Agnihotri is known for films like The Tashkent Files, Buddha In A Traffic Jam and Chocolate: Deep Dark Secrets. Joshi, on the other hand, is known for her work in television serials like Mr Yogi, Bharat Ek Khoj, Alpaviram, Justajoo, and films such as Woh Chokri, The Making of the Mahatma and Suraj Ka Satvan Ghoda.
