The crime drama series is produced by Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams, which also stars Sofia Hublitz, Julia Garner, Jason Butler Harner, Peter Mullan, Lisa Emery, and others.

The fourth season of the show was split into two parts, the first of which wraps up the Byrde family's journey from suburban Chicago to their criminal enterprise in the Ozarks. "We always thought five (seasons) was the outside number," showrunner Chris Mundy said of the choice to finish the show in two parts. He went on to say, "We didn't want to repeat ourselves after that, and we didn’t want the show to feel like it was continuing because it was a TV show and it had to continue."

Marty can be seen contemplating his decision to live such a violent and dangerous life that causes others to suffer. Wendy, on the other hand, persuades him to stay a little longer because the situation is almost over. Marty is losing his cool, and Wendy is concerned that his desire to be a good guy after all this time will have a significant impact on the family. Meanwhile, a betrayed Ruth seeks vengeance by murdering Omar Navarro's nephew, Javi (Alfonso Herrera). While the Byrdes are dealing with their problems, she is out there spreading havoc.

Ozark Season 4 Part 2 will air on April 29, 2022. The show will return to Netflix with its concluding episodes.
