OTT Releases First Week Of 2023
The Pale Blue Eye
This Netflix 2023 movie starring Christian Bale, Lucy Boynton, Harry Melling and Gillian Anderson is the story of a veteran detective named Augustus Landor who is investigating a series of murders and is helped by a young cadet. This young cadet is none other than Edgar Allan Poe, who goes on to become a world-famous author. The movie releases on January 6.
Taaza Khabar
YouTuber and social media influencer Bhuvan Bam will be seen in an action role in his own web series Taaza Khabar. In this series, Bhuvan Bam will star as a sanitary worker whose dreams are big but his living conditions are not favourable to his dreams. He stumbles upon a magical power that gives him future news in advance which changes his life forever. The series will be released on Disney Plus Hotstar on January 6.
Mumbai Mafia: Police vs The Underworld
This Netflix documentary is set in the backdrop of 1990s Mumbai which is plagued with Mafia influence. The series shows the struggles between a group of ruthless gangsters doing extortion, trafficking and terrorism and a group of encounter specialist police officers who take up the task of sweeping the city clean of these tyrants. The series releases on Netflix on January 6.
Woman Of The Dead
This Netflix thriller series starring Anna Maria Muhe, Romina Kuper, Michou Friesz and Andrea Wenzl in pivotal roles is based on a novel of the same name by Bernhard Aichner. The drama series follows the life of a woman who, after her husband's death, sets out to take revenge on his killers. However, in the process, she comes across the darkest secrets of her community. The show was released on Netflix on January 5.

The audiences' favourite mother-daughter duo is back with season 2. As Ginny comes to terms with her mother Georgia committing a murder, Georgia is planning a wedding with her Mayor's boyfriend. Madoff: The Monster Of Wall Street
Yet another documentary series on Netflix shows the rise and fall of Bernie Madoff, an American financier and fraudster who is infamously known as a financial serial killer. The docuseries focuses on his involvement in one of the biggest Ponzi schemes and is known as the mastermind behind the fraud that was worth $64.8 billion. The series was released on January 5.
The Lying Life Of Adults
Based on a best-selling novel of the same name by Elena Ferrante, this Netflix series stars Giordana Marengo, Valeria Golino, Pina Turco and Alessandro Preziosi in pivotal roles. The show follows the life of Giovanna from her childhood to her transition into adolescence and the transitions that her city Naples witnessed during the 1990s. The show was released on January 4.
