Nusrat Jahan And Her Newborn Get Discharged From Hospital

Nusrat Jahan and her newborn were spotted along with Yash Dasgupta as she got discharged from the hospital post-delivery.

The actor-turned-politician Nusrat Jahan delivered her baby boy on Wednesday, last week. She was discharged from the Bhagirathi Neotia Hospital on Monday afternoon. Actor-politician Yash Dasgupta shared an update with fans and well-wishers and wrote, "For those who have been enquiring about Nusrat’s health, the mother and child are healthy and doing well."

After she left the hospital, Jahan folded her hands and acknowledged the media before getting inside the car. Yash Dasgupta was seen carrying the newborn. In June, Jahan shared a post with the caption, "Kindness changes everything" and announced her pregnancy. The actor-politician also shared timely updates with her fans through social media.

The Nusrat Jahan and Nikhil Jain controversy

Nusrat Jahan had previously married the businessman Nikhil Jain in Turkey in 2019. After living together for a few months, in 2020 Jahan claimed that her marriage to Jain was not valid under Indian laws. She added that it had not been registered under the Special Marriage Act. Jahan said in her statement, "Our separation happened long back, but I did not speak about it as I intended to keep my private life to myself."

Replying to Jahan, Nikhil Jain called her allegation 'baseless and derogatory and devoid of truth'. He also filed a civil suit against her for annulment of the marriage. Talking about their marriage, Jain said, " Since August 2020 during the shooting of a film, my wife’s behaviour started changing towards me, for reasons best known to her." He also shared that he is dismayed due to the allegations made on him and his family by Jahan.

Jain reacted to the birth of Jahan's child and congratulated her. He wrote, "There might be differences between us, but I am wishing the newborn and his mother all the best. I wish the baby boy has a bright future."
