2023 will be having a bunch of much-anticipated releases and many new movies coming to OTT. Starting off the year on an entertaining note, Netflix has some great releases for January and the coming months that the audience will love.
2022 was a great year when it comes to Netflix releases. Releases like Wednesday, Stranger Things, Darlings and Jamtara kept the audience entertained and hooked the entire year. As we transition from 2022 to 2023, the audience hopes for better entertainment with a new year and looking at the scheduled releases on Netflix for the coming year, we can say that the fans will not be disappointed.

Netflix 2023 Releases
Bridgerton Season 3
Season 3 of this popular period romance drama will feature the love story of Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton. The season will be based on Julia Quinn's novel Romancing Mister Bridgerton and will feature how Colin decides to help Penelope to find a suiter for herself but begins to develop feelings for her instead after crushing her hopes of a romance in season 2.
Extraction 2
Starring Chris Hemsworth as Tyler Rake, Extraction garnered a massive audience when it was released in 2020. The sequel of this film will be released in 2023 and will be directed by Sam Hargrave while Russo Brothers will be the executive producers. This time Rake will be on a mission to rescue a family from one of the world's harshest prisons that are captured by a Georgian criminal.
Ginny And Georgia Season 2
The mother-daughter duo will be back with a new set of adventures and complications that will give them some valuable life lessons. Season 2 ended with Ginny discovering that her stepfather Kenny did not die in a car crash but it was Georgia who killed him. In season 3 which will be releasing on January 5, Ginny will understand that what Georgia did was to protect her while Georgia is ready to forget the past and plan her wedding.
Mission Majnu
Releasing on January 19, 2023, this action thriller set in the 1970's stars Sidharth Malhotra, Rashmika Mandanna, Bhumika Chawla and Parmeet Sethi in pivotal roles and is directed by Shantanu Bagchi. Claimed to be inspired by true events, this movie will feature the story of an Indian spy who goes on an undercover mission in Pakistan with the task to expose a secret nuclear weapons program.
Never Have I Ever Season 4
Devi Vishwakarma and her teenage troubles will be back with a fourth and final season in 2023. With a rocky relationship graph in the past few seasons, we will see Devi finally deciding what she wants for love and whether she will be choosing Paxton or Ben. However, there will be a new heartthrob in Sherman Oaks High as Ethan, played by Michael Cimino, enters the arena.
Heart Of Stone
This much-anticipated spy action thriller coming in 2023 stars Gal Gadot, Alia Bhatt, Jamie Dorman and Jing Lusi in pivotal roles. The plot of the movie is not yet disclosed for the anticipation of fans but the makers have announced that the movie will be a full-fledged action-packed thriller with Gal Gadot as Rachel Stone, a CIA agent on a mission to save world peace and Alia Bhatt as Keya Dhawan, her partner.
You Season 4
Netflix's popular stalker thriller series will release season 4 on February 9, 2023, starring Penn Badgley, Tati Gabrielle, Lukas Gage, Charlotte Ritchie and Tilly Keeper in important roles. The new season will see Joe now pretending to be a college professor Jonathan Moore in order to get close to his new obsession, Marienne and feature his new ways of stalking and subduing her.
Pain Hustlers
This conspiracy drama releasing in 2023 will star Chris Evans, Emily Blunt and Chloe Coleman in pivotal roles. The story of the movie revolves around Liza Drake, a high school dropout who decides to work at a pharmaceutical start-up in Central Florida in the hopes of a better life for her young daughter. However, she is soon dragged into a criminal conspiracy and needs to find a way out alive.
Firefly Lane Season 2 Part 2
The seven episodes long final chapter of this drama series starring Katherine Heigl, Sarah Chalke, Alissa Skovbye, Ben Lawson and Roan Curtis will release on June 8, 2023. The audience will witness the friendship of Tully and Kate for one last time and see what happens after the rift between the childhood friends and what impact will Tully's cancer diagnosis have on their friendship.
Rebel Moon: Part 1
Starring Sofia Boutella, Ray Fisher, Charlie Hunnam and Charlotte Maggi in important roles, this American space opera is directed by Zack Snyder. The story of the film is about a colony situated at the edge of the galaxy whose citizens are living a peaceful life until Belisarius, a tyrannical regent sends armies to threaten them. A young woman is tasked with gathering warriors from neighbouring planets to fight them.
