According to Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt's Instagram post, she and her husband Ranbir Kapoor are all set to become parents. While Bollywood celebrities have filled the comment section of the post with their blessings and good wishes, here's how Ranbir Kapoor's mom Neetu Kapoor reacted to Alia-Ranbir’s first child announcement.

She was spotted on the sets of Dance Deewane Juniors which is when paparazzi congratulated her. They said, “Neetu ji,aap daadi banne wala ho.” To this, she first looked puzzled and then gave an expression of gratitude and also said 'Thank You'. When a pap told her, ‘Junior Kapoor on the way’, she laughed it out and said, "Poori India ko pata chal gya main dadi banne wali hun".

Bollywood celebrities react

Bollywood actors Rakul Preet Singh, Parineeti Chopra, Ishaan Khattar, Tiger Shroff, Vaani Kapoor, Sonu Sood, Kriti Sanon, Neha Dhupia, Farhan Akhtar, Anil Kapoor, Bipasha Bashu and Sophie Choudry congratulated the couple on Instagram.

Actor, producer, and entrepreneur Priyanka Chopra, too congratulated the couple. “Congratulations honey!! Yaaaay! Can’t wait,” she wrote.

When a pap told Neetu Kapoor, ‘Junior Kapoor on the way’, she laughed it out and said, "Poori India ko pata chal gya main dadi banne wali hun".

“I imagine how they felt when they went to the hospital to make sure she was pregnant, it’s a beautiful moment and a very beautiful pic! look at Ranbir and Alia’s laugh! Ok bye, I got emotional again,” a fan wrote feeling elated about the pregnancy.

Brahmastra release

The duo will be seen in Brahmastra which is set to release on 9 September. Directed by Ayan Mukherjee, the movie is inspired by deeply rooted concepts and tales from Indian history but set in the modern world, with epic storytelling of fantasy, adventure, good vs evil, love and hope.
