Nay Varan Bhat Loncha Kon Nay Koncha is a Marathi crime thriller movie directed by actor Mahesh Manjrekar. The release of an outrageous trailer about teenage boys turning into criminals has been opposed by many users on social media sites.

The Marathi drama produced by Shreyans Herawat shows two disadvantaged teenage boys who later on turn into criminals and are shown extorting and murdering people in the movie.

The movie stars Prem Dharmadhikari, Chhaya Kadam, Shashank Shende, Varad Nagwekar, Rohit Haldikar, Kashmira Shah, Atul Kale, Ashwini Kulkarni, Umesh Jagtap, Savita Malpekar, and Ganesh Yadav.

 The trailer which showed the cause of deprived communities, portrays violence in various scenes where the boys are seen washing their bloodied hands in water after killing the owners of the house. In other scenes, the movie shows the scene of sexually exploitative nature, where the boy tries making a move on his own aunt and intruding on people's personal space. 

The trailer of the movie was released on January 10, 2022, and received heavy backlash from social media users and activists for the use of violent action and vulgarity by teenage kids. It was released without any censorship across social media and did not have any restrictions for underage viewers. However, the trailer was removed on January 13, 2022, following the controversy.

The movie earlier scheduled to release on January 21 will be released on January 14 across the theatres. 

Nay Varan Bhat Loncha Kon Nay Koncha was reportedly shot during the time of pandemic and is based on the story of veteran writer, Late Jayant Pawar, who is also the writer in the movie. The movie has received an 'A' certificate from the censor board.

Nay Varan Bhat Loncha Kon Nay Koncha trailer was condemned by the National Commission for Women. The Chairperson of NCW, Rekha Sharma, further wrote to the Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, requesting to "censor the trailer and sexually explicit scenes involving minors in the movie".
