Malaika Aroa's first guest for the episode was Farah Khan who she has been friends for a long time. They start speaking about the casting of Chaiyya Chaiyya, Arora's recent car accident and the changes that occurred in her love life, the divorce and the much-talked-about relationship with Arjun Kapoor. While on the second episode, Malaika Arora shows a glimpse of her work life and minute details of the operations and how she conducts herself professionally and emotionally. Some people have drawn comparisons of the show and its nature with the popular Netflix reality show Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives. Both deal with inside information about the lives of Bollywood stars. Another viewer who wasn't very pleased with the show says, "Also are you serious with how boring #MovingInWithMalaika is? It takes true talent to feature Malaika in something so insipid." On the other hand a viewer who was very pleased with the show and the flavour that it added, she wrote, "I am in love with the show after the first episode only.
