Always Give More Than You Take: Mouni Roy Wishes Mandira Bedi On Her 49th Birthday

On Mandira Bedi birthday, actor Mouni Roy sends wishes for her close friend: Actor Mandira Bedi turns 49 today. To mark the occasion, close friend and fellow film and television actor Mouni Roy sent wishes to her on Instagram.

Calling Bedi "ahh-mae-zinggg", Roy sent her "cuddles & kisses & food" and added, "I adamantly believe; “ always give more than you take” but it’s almost impossible with you, the love, attention, the care, your spirit, energy and zest for life Is, and shall always be unmatched."

Roy called herself "lucky" to grow with Mandira Bedi "in love, thoughtfulness, wisdom (in the lanes less travelled in Bandra, Europe, Maldives & other places we are yet to visit) my dearest M." Roy also added that she misses her friend a bit much and thus is "sending you Extraaaaa extra love" today. Along with the birthday wish, Roy also shared a couple of photos with Bedi, adding that she is "waiting for one full day of a make belief birthday so we can celebrate it tog morn’ till the dusk light (sic)."

Roy concluded by asking Bedi to save some dances on the "window still, floor, pools, sofa tops, in the ocean and under moonlit skies."

The Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge actor and fitness icon adopted a four-year-old girl last year. Bedi, who is married to filmmaker Raj Kaushal and is also mother to 9-year-old Vir, recently called out trolls for attacking her daughter Tara. In two Instagram stories, Bedi highlighted the online abuse that Tara faced from certain sections of the internet with one person calling the child a "street kid" who didn't appear to fit into the family. Slamming the trolls, Bedi said that she doesn't give "two hoots" if they target her, but her "claws come out" when her children are subjected to abuse. Read more on that here.

Bedi became popular for her role in Doordarshan's serial Shanti back in the 90s. She was also a part of Ekta Kapoor's daily soap Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi featuring Smriti Irani in the lead role.
