Mouni Roy Set To Tie The Knot: Here’s What We Know About The Wedding

Bollywood is drenched in the colour of celebrations as we have witnessed so many celebrity weddings lately. After Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif tied the knot back in December, we have Mouni Roy next in line all set to marry her rumoured boyfriend Suraj Nambiar.

2021 saw many celebrities like Varun-Natasha, Vicky-Katrina, Yami-Aditya, RajKummar-Patralekha getting married and now it’s time for the first celebrity wedding of 2022. According to sources, actor Mouni Roy is all set to tie the knot with her rumoured boyfriend Suraj Nambiar.

Here’s what we know about their wedding:

1. The Groom

As per media reports, the actor will be tying the knot with her boyfriend Suraj Nambiar. Nambiar is a Dubai-based businessman who is from Bangalore and hails from a Jain family. Currently, he is working as the Director Head of the Capital Markets in UAE. Rumours about the two dating first came up in 2019 and it is likely that the couple grew closer during the lockdown in 2020.

2. Date

According to reports, the wedding date is set for January 27, 2021. It is rumoured that there will be two-day wedding ceremonies. The couple is reportedly planning a dance party after their wedding on January 28.

3. Venue

Instead of holding the ceremonies in Dubai, where Suraj Nambiar is based, the couple has decided to tie the knot in India itself. It was rumoured that the wedding might take place in Italy but according to the reports, it is now  decided to be held in Goa. Five-star resort, W Goa, near Vagator beach has been reportedly booked as the venue. It is supposed to be a beach-facing wedding as the ceremonies will take place in the afternoon.

4. Guests

The guest list is supposed to include all close friends and family members of the couple. Producers Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor, designer Manish Malhotra and Roy’s close friends Aashka Goradia Goble, Pratik Utekar and Rahul Shetty are some of the confirmed names on the guest list.

5. Roy’s Bachelorette

According to intel, Mouni Roy was recently spotted in Goa having a gala time with her girlfriends. The girls were reportedly throwing a bachelorette for the to-be bride as her close friend Aashka Goradia Goble posted pictures of her friends having the time of their lives.
