'To Practice Feminism, You Have To Practice Empathy': Moose Jattana

Talking about men, Jattana said that they need to understand that just because they cannot relate to many female experiences, doesn't mean they cannot empathise with them.

She added that when people practice feminism, it has more to do with themselves. She said that when gets asked about "how to practice feminism", she tells them that there is not just one answer to that.

Talking about men, Jattana said that they need to understand that just because they cannot relate to many female experiences, doesn't mean they cannot empathise with them.

"If you are a man and you decide to practise feminism, you have to practice empathy," she said. According to Jattana, just because the patriarchal system benefits someone does not mean that they are a bad person.

Jattana thinks that raising children is a lot of responsibility. She said, "You have a lot of responsibility to teach them the right things. You may not say the right things and that is okay. But you have to teach them gender equality.

" When children are young, they don't know what is right what is wrong." She said that when parents tell kids things like "girls don't do that, boys don't do that", they teach them stereotypes.

The 20-year-old social media personality often makes content about gender sexuality and several aspects of it. As a feminist, she wants women to recognise their worth. She said that she does not want to tell people what to do what to remind them that they have choices. Watch the full interview here.

The activist is currently participating in the reality show Bigg Boss on an OTT platform. During the show, she opened up about her sexuality and said that she identifies as a bisexual.  The six-week-long show is being hosted by Karan Johar. The other contestants of the show are Milind Gaba, Shamita Shetty, Divya Agarwal, Pratik Sehajpal, Neha Bhasin, Ridhima Pandit, Raquesh Bapat, Nishant Bhat, Zeeshan Khan, Karan Nath, Urfi Javed and Akshara Singh.
