Modern Love Season 2 Release Date: Popular show Modern Love is returning with a second season of the series. The first season of the show was based on a column from The New York Times named Modern Love which is in its 17th year now. In the column, people send their stories about relationships, feelings betrayals, and revelations. The second season of the show will also follow suit and will be based on entries from the column, however, which entries have been chosen for the show is still unclear.
Any of the episodes in the eight-part anthology will not be connected to each other. Modern Love has been shot all around the world including cities like Dublin, Albany, and New York.
The cast of the season two of this popular show includes Tobias Menzies, Sophie Okonedo, Gbenga Akinnagbe, Lucy Boynton, Zoe Chao, Minnie Driver, Dominique Fishback, Kit Harington, Garrett Hedlund, Anna Paquin, Miranda Richardson, Marquis Rodriguez, Isaac Powell, and Aparna Nancherla among others. Season one of the show included Anne Hathaway, Dev Patel, Tina Fey, and Andrew Scott in key roles.
Showrunner John Carney said in a statement to Radio Times, that the subsequent seasons of the show can really branch out and dig deep into what it means to love in this complicated world, and the new season is incredible news for everyone involved in the series. He further said that with so much uncertainty in the world currently, these stories will bring truth and love to people everywhere and he is so appreciative to be a part of making it happen.
Modern Love Season 2 Release Date
The show is set to release on August 13 this year exclusively on the streaming platform Amazon Prime Video. The show is an eight-episode anthology series and all the episodes of the show will release on the same day.
