Modern Love has finally arrived in Tamil Nadu, marking a significant milestone in the region. Thiagarajan Kumararaja has assembled a formidable team of directors, writers, and actors to create a captivating six-part anthology centred around contemporary love stories in Tamil Nadu.
The eagerly awaited trailer was unveiled on Thursday at Chennai's Prasad Studios, drawing a crowd of enthusiastic directors and actors involved in the project.

Modern Love Chennai seeks inspiration from stories featured in the distinguished New York Times and incorporates Tamil culture to create a distinctive experience. Today, Prime Video presented the official ">trailer for this web series, eliciting an overwhelmingly positive response from the audience. Spanning three minutes, the trailer takes viewers on an emotional roller coaster, revolving around the central theme of love.
Starting May 18, Modern Love Chennai will be available for streaming exclusively on Prime Video. The series comprises six episodes, each helmed by accomplished filmmakers including Bharathiraja, Balaji Sakthivel, Thiagarajan Kumararaja, Rajumurugan, Akshay Sundher, and Krishnakumar Ramakumar. Musical scores for these segments have been composed by the illustrious Ilaiyaraaja, Yuvan Shankar Raja, G. V. Prakash Kumar, and Sean Roldan.
The star-studded cast of Modern Love Chennai features Pawan Alex, Srikrishna Dayal, Ramya Nambessan, Ritu Varma, Ashok Selvan, Vijayalakshmi, Wamiqa, Kishore, Sri Gouri Priya, Samyuktha Vishwanathan, Sanjula Sarathi, Aniiruth Kanakarajan, Chu Khoy Sheng, T J Bhanu, Vasundhara, Vasudevan Murali, PB, and others. The TV show is created by Tyler Durden and Kino Fist.
Balaji Tharaneetharan, Rajumurugan, Reshma Ghatala, Pratheep Kumar S, and Thiagarajan Kumararaja himself have penned the stories in the series. The trailer showcases a lively track by Sean Roldan and a soul-stirring melody sung by Ilaiyaraaja. A grand event was held in Chennai to celebrate the trailer's launch. The music compositions shown in the series are the creative works of three highly talented artists, namely Bakkiyam Sankar, Yugabharathi, and Maestro Ilaiyaraaja.
Nirav Shah, the cinematographer, has skilfully captured every aspect of the series. He expressed his enthusiasm for the project and noted that although he typically does not work on short films, he thoroughly enjoyed the intense but brief experience. He looks forward to having more opportunities like this in the future.
