Mismatched season 1 saw Dimple Ahuja and Rishi Shekhawat meeting under unfavourable circumstances when he saw his bride in her and she called him a creep. They started off on the wrong foot but were put on the same team for a competition giving them time to understand each other. Dimple is a tech geek and Rishi is a hopeless romantic and they go through many ups and downs in the first season. Season two will continue the emotional dilemmas of the main as well as supporting cast along with new academic pressure.

Mismatched Season 2 Cast, Plot and Trailer
The ">trailer of the second season began with Dimple and Harsh being a thing when she kisses him out of stress. Though she won the League Of Legends, she and Rishi ended things on bitter terms and the tension is evident in season 2. However, there is a new and bigger opportunity awaiting the students that will put them in the fighting ring again. Everyone has a burden to bear and feelings to sort out as they explore themselves and life. As they work hard to grab the spot among the best, fate has other unexpected plans for them.
The season 1 cast will be returning in the second season with Prajakta Kohli playing Dimple and Rohit Saraf playing Rishi. Ranvijay Singha will return in his role as Professor Siddharth Sinha, Vidya Malvade as Zeenat Karim, Vihaan Samat as Harsh Agarwal, Vaibhav Palhade as Samar, Trishna Singh as Shahana, Taaruk Rains as Anmol, Muskkaan Jaferi as Celina, Devyani Shorey as Namrata and Kritika Bharadwaj as Simran. Sanjana Sarathy and Dipannita Sharma will be new cast members, Sharma will be playing the owner of a big tech firm that comes on campus to offer a big opportunity to five lucky students and Sarathy plays Rishi's new non-date Sanskruti.
