Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and her businessman spouse husband Robert Vadra joined Rahul Gandhi in the Rajasthan leg for his Bharat Jodo Yatra. Interestingly, the couple was joined by their daughter, Miraya Vadra on Monday. Hundreds of party workers and performers joined the family for the yatra after it resumed from the Bundi district.
Miraya Vadra joined her uncle Rahul Gandhi for the Rajasthan lap of his Bharat Jodo Yatra. The 20-year-old athlete and daughter of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Robert Vadra walked hand-in-hand with her family leading from the front. The Yatra was called the ‘Nari Shakti Padayatra’ for Monday as the 96th day of the Yatra is all set to be dedicated to the cause of women’s empowerment.

Who is Miraya Vadra?
Miraya Vadra was born to Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Robert Vadra in 2002. Miraya is the couple’s second child and has an older brother named Raihan Vadra. It is learned that she is an active basketball player and has often been spotted playing the game during several tournaments. Her family attends most of her games and roots for her. Miraya is also an adventurous soul as she partakes in several activities especially those related to nature. She has been training for an instructor-level diving course in the Maldives.
Calling his daughter "an environmentalist who wants to learn, save and build every day," Robert Vadra penned an emotional note for her last year. Miraya keeps away from the public eye and has only been spotted publicly during her grandfather’s death anniversaries with her family or during her basketball matches. Miraya and her brother are both on social media, and while they are not very active, they occasionally share some anecdotes of their lives on time. In 2021, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra claimed that both her children's Instagram accounts had got hacked. While she did not file a formal complaint, the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) investigated the matter.
Miraya and her family united in the activities planned for the day as several performers and activists joined the regime. In a video shared by the party, she can be seen cheering the dancers performing the regional folk music on the streets.
