Aishwarya Mohanraj rose to fame after her stand-ups in the competitive series Comicstaan. The comedian made it to the final Top 10 list but couldn't win the show. Beating the bias around women not being funny, Mohanraj has created a following which applauds her for her relatable comic videos. The analyst-turned-comic has been a confident stage performer since her childhood.

Aishwarya Mohanraj, with her relatable comedy, has amassed popularity not only as a comedian but also as a social media personality. The comedian holds a degree in Pharmacy and has worked as an analyst at Nielsen for five months. She left the job to participate in Amazon Prime Video's comic competition show Comicstaan.

She narrated a story about her 26-year-old brother's death in one of the segments of Open Mic by Tape a Tale. Her LinkedIn profile mentions her interests as Healthcare, Communications, Social Media, Public Relations and Marketing.

While she is often presented with suggestions to have more 'neutral' content in her comedy, she remarks that women generally talk about specific issues which concern them because it is their personal experience. "Like menstruation – you don’t go through it, which is why you don’t have anything to say about it. It’s that basic,"she mentioned while speaking to SheThePeople.

Aishwarya Mohanraj took to her Instagram on February 14, 2022 announcing her engagement with her boyfriend Aakash Shah. She flaunted her ring with an Instagram caption that read, "13th Feb 2022- the day l stop saying “propose kab kar raha hai?” and start saying “shaadi kab kar rahe hai?"
