All You Need To Know About The Release Of Madhuri Dixit's "The Fame Game" Today

The wait is about to end, Bollywood superstar Madhuri Dixit will be making her OTT debut this week with the thriller series The Fame Game. Produced by Karan Johar, the web series features Dixit as a popular actor named Anamika Anand, who disappears one day, leaving her family questioning its interpersonal relationships.

The Fame Game has been helmed by Bejoy Nambiar, who has previously, directed Shaitan, David, Pizza, Wazir and Taish- which was released both as a film and web series. Short filmmaker Karishma Kohli has co-director some of the episodes for the series.

The Fame Game Cast

Apart from Madhuri Dixit, the series also features Sanjay Kapoor in the role of Anamika's husband and Manav Kaul as Anamika's co-actor. Rajshri Deshpande, Muskkaan Jaferi, Lakshvir Singh Saran, Gagan Arora, Shubhangi Latka and Suhasini Muley will also be seen in the series in crucial roles.

The Fame Game Plot

The ">trailer of the series introduces us to Anamika Anand, who, in her own words, is blessed with a small but loving family, leading a domestic life that contrasts her glamourous profession. However, when Anamika goes missing for 48 hours and a police investigation is launched to trace her whereabouts, family secrets reluctantly start tumbling out.

Turns out that Anamika's relationship with her husband and children is not as dreamy as she wanted the world to believe. She was also having an affair with her co-star. It also seems that Anamika's family had a major rift before she went missing. Who is behind the superstar's disappearance? Has it something to do with her past, present or future? And does the world even know who Anamika Anand really is?  Viewers will find out soon.

Speaking about her decision to debut on OTT with a thriller series, Dixit said that she loved the script as it is about fame and what follows when it is in your life. "It is a story about a woman whose life is seemingly perfect till she disappears one day. Then where is she to who is she?”

The Fame Game Release Date And Time

The Fame Game will premiere on Netflix on February 25. All episodes of the web series are expected to drop at 12: 30 PM on Friday. Anyone with a valid subscription to the platform can watch it from the said date and time.
