Social media sometimes get tired of the 90s kids bragging that it was the best decade. Most iconic films, tracks and television shows of the pre-internet era. But are they wrong? The 90s and early 2000 did give us some of the greatest songs and Lucky Ali was a big part of that culture. Tuning into Lucky Ali's iconic albums was one of the most soulful experiences. On the occasion of his birthday, let's revisit some of those favourite tracks we grew up listening to.
Lucky Ali Nostalgic Songs
- Dekha Hai Aise Bhi - This song is from one of the most popular albums of Ali, Sifar (1997) which was also his second album after Sunoh (1996). This ">song features Lucky Ali himself on a bus ride and he also sings about a journey. The video was shot in Arizona in the United States of America on the famous Route 66. Ali questions life and the perspective through which people see it. Back in the 90s, people were just starting to enjoy the music of independent artists and Lucky Ali with his songs about unique topics became a spectacle.
- Na Tum Jano Na Hum - The year 2000 also saw the introduction of another star kid who rocked the theatres with his appearance and left a mark, Hrithik Roshan. His film Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai (2000) with Ameesha Patel became one of the most successful films that year. One of the songs from the movie by Lucky Ali was Na Tum Jano Na Hum, a romantic number that had struck a chord with many for its melody and Ali's voice.
- Jaane Kya Dhoondta Hai - This is another iconic ">song by the legend from a movie he acted in, called Sur – The Melody of Life (2002). It was a Hindi musical also featuring Gauri Karnik and the song became popular.
- Kitni Haseen Zindagi - This song is from an ensemble album by several artists where Lucky Ali's was called Aks, presented by Sony Music released in 1997. The ">song featured Malaika Arora and Lucky Ali, Ali was seen riding a bike as he sings the song. It was also a reflection of love and life through the songs of this album.
- O Sanam - Leaving the best for the last from this list, O Sanam is a song that made an image for Lucky Ali in the music industry with his debut album Sunoh (1996). Recently Lucky Ali singing this song to a small crowd in Goa became viral which also allowed the new generation to be introduced to this gem of a song. Playing ">O Sanam also takes all of us back to those great times of unadulterated love and happiness.
