The last week of August promises the OTT release of scintillating movies you wouldn't want to miss.  Here's a list of movies that you can look forward to this week..

1. Engineering Girls 2.0 

The OTT show Engineering Girls 2.0 follows three girls through their journey through a male-dominated engineering college. The show stars Barkha Singh, Youtuber Sejal Kumar and Kritika Avasthi in the lead roles. It released on OTT platform Zee 5 on August 27. The first season of the show first aired in 2018. 2. The Empire

The Empire focuses on the rise and fall of the Mughal Empire through generations starting from Babur to Aurangzeb. It is based on Alex Rutherford’s novel Empire of the Moghul. Shabana Azmi in an interview said that she always wanted to play a historical character and her desire has been fulfilled through the show. 3. Kasada Tabara 

The Tamil language film Kasada Tabara is directed by Chimbu Deven. The movie film has an ensemble cast and its story is divided into six portions and brings together six different editors, music directors and directors of photography to narrate the ‘Tales of South Madras’. 4. Thimmarusu

This Telugu film starring Satyadev in the central role will release on OTT, one month after its theatrical release. The thriller revolves around the principal character, a lawyer, played by Satya Dev, who wages a battle against corruption both inside and outside the courtroom. The film is directed by Sharan Koppishetty and it features Priyanka Jawalkar in the female lead role. it will premiere on Netflix on the 28th of August.

5. SR Kalyanamandapam

SR Kalyanamandapam, the Telugu language romantic film, is set in 1975. The story revolves around a young woman who wants to fix his relationship with his father. The movie stars Kiran Abbavaram and Priyanka Jawalkar in the lead. It is set to release on August 28 on Telugu OTT platform Aha.
