Lara Dutta Says Ranbir Kapoor And Alia Bhatt To Get Married This Year

Lara Dutta on Ranbir Alia Wedding: While the promotions of her recent movie are in full swing, the Bell Bottom actor shared her opinion on the speculations that are doing the rounds on Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding.

After her get up of Indira Gandhi got viral on the internet with Bell Bottom trailer release, Dutta shared interesting insights about her transformation in the movie. Dutta told Zoom Tv that not just the audience but her daughter and husband Mahesh Bhupati were also stunned after seeing her new look. 

She said, "My husband was shocked. He probably felt very unsettled with the look. He was like 'I don't want to hug you'. You don't really look like yourself." In Bell Bottom trailer, Dutta was seen not just adopting Gandhi's appearance but also her low tone voice. On the day of the trailer release, Lara Dutta's name was seen trending on social media as thousands of people tweeted about her.

During an interview with Times Now, Dutta was asked about the relationship between actor Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.

She said, “I believe that they are getting married this year." Ranbir Kapoor had earlier said that his marriage to Alia Bhatt would have taken place if not for the pandemic. Though the couple has not shared any information about their wedding. 

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have reportedly been dating each other for more than two years now. Recently, she was spotted checking out Ranbir’s new residence with Neetu Kapoor. On the work front, Bhatt's much-awaited film Gangubai Kathiawadi is yet to release. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will be seen together in the highly anticipated project Brahmastra which is expected to release in 2021.
