Kriti Sanon films: Raabta actor Kriti Sanon will be seen in an upcoming movie titled Mimi. The actor revealed the first look of the film with a poster on her Instagram handle. The film is said to be mainly centred around surrogacy and is expected to release in July this year.
Posting about the film, Sanon wrote on her Instagram, "This July, expect the extraordinary from the ordinary! Stay tuned. (sic)" The film is directed by Laxman Utekar who is known for the film Luka Chuppi.

Raabta
The 2017 film directed by Dinesh Vijan is based on the concept of reincarnated star-crossed love.
Raabta takes place across two timelines of the past and the present life of the main characters. The film features Kriti Sanon and the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead roles. In the film, Sanon played the role of Saira who falls in love with a boy named Shiv but their simple love story is put to test when Saira's reincarnated lover from her past life enters the lives of the couple.
Bareilly Ki Barfi
Directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, the film is based on Nicolas Barreau's novel, The Ingredients of Love and stars Kriti Sanon, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Rajkummar Rao in lead roles. Bareilly Ki Barfi also features Pankaj Tripathi and Seema Pahwa in supporting roles.
Sanon plays the role of a girl named Bitti Mishra who runs away from home to escape an attempt at arranged marriage. On her way, she buys a book titled Bareilly Ki Barfi and realizes that she is the main character of the book and proceeds to find the writer of the book. This leads to an interesting love triangle between the main leads of the film.
Luka Chuppi
Along with Sanon, the film stars Kartik Aaryan in the lead role of this romantic comedy directed by Laxman Utekar. Produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films, the film tells the story of a local television reporter who cohabits with his intern and their traditional families assume that they got married to each other.
Dilwale
The story of Dilwale takes place across two timelines, the first being of the present day, and the other in the year 2000 in Bulgaria and follows the life of Raj and Meera, played by Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. The main characters of the film fall in love with each other but are forced to stay together due to belonging to rival mafia families and years later their siblings fall for each other which gives a second chance to their relationship.
Heropanti
Kriti Sanon and Tiger Shroff's debut film Heropanti is a remake of the Telugu film Parugu which mainly revolves around a strict Jat family from Haryana. In the film, Sanon plays the role of Dimpy whose sister elopes with her boyfriend and her father decides to find them at any cost. Meanwhile, another love story between Sanon and Shroff's characters take place in the premise of this search.
Heropanti is directed by Sabbir Khan and is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banners of UTV Motion Pictures and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
