Kriti Sanon Film Mimi: Kriti Sanon and Pankaj Tripathi unite once again after the 2017 romantic comedy Bareilly Ki Barfi. This time it's for the Laxman Utekar directorial Mimi.
The trailer of the movie dropped on Tuesday, July 13 and has already reached 24 Million views across all platforms. It deals with the much-debated topic of surrogacy. The titular character Mimi, played by Sanon is an ambitious dancer from a small town. However, going by the trailer, the movie's area of focus will be her journey as a surrogate mother. Tripathi plays the role of her friend, who also makes it possible for her to be a surrogate mother.

Kriti Sanon and Pankaj Tripathi will be seen as protagonists in the film. Besides, it also casts Manoj Pahwa and Supriya Pathak Kapoor as Mimi's parents. Jaya Bhattacharya plays the role of a Gynaecologist in the movie. Sai Tamhankar, Amardeep Jha, Evelyn Edwards and Aidan Whytock will be seen playing supporting roles.
Sharing the trailer on her Instagram handle, Sanon said, "#Mimi expected everything, expect for this unexpected journey! Here is My Mimi for you!" She mentioned the entire cast and crew in the caption.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, movies are rarely seeing a theatre release now. Thanks to OTT platforms, fresh entertainment content is delivered on small screens at least. The film will be released on Friday, July 30 on major OTT platforms.

This Kriti Sanon movie will be releasing on the OTT platforms Jio Cinema and Netflix. Both the platforms made the announcement on their social media handles.
