Mom-To-Be Kishwer Merchant Shares Useful "Clothing Hacks" For Pregnant Women

Kishwer Merchant clothing hacks for pregnant women: Television actor Kishwer Merchant, who is pregnant with her first child, shared advice for other moms-to-be, on what clothes to wear when nothing fits them. Sharing some useful maternity wear tips, in a new video posted on Instagram, Merchant decoded her pregnancy look and shared five outfits for pregnant woman that can last during the nine-month journey.

Merchant took to her Instagram handle on Wednesday and shared an IG video, wherein she opened up on some "Pregnancy clothing hacks" that had come in handy for her. "This video shows how u DON'T have to buy clothes during Ur pregnancy if u have a husband who's clothes u can raid," she wrote in the post.

According to Merchant, who is married to television actor Suyyash Rai, the first hack is to raid the husband’s wardrobe for comfortable clothing. “See what I am wearing. I am wearing the coolest thing on this bloody planet. His shorts and his T-shirt. I think it is pretty cool, I love it,” she said in the video, adding that a pair of loose shorts and an oversized T-shirt is the perfect wear to beat the summer heat.

She also revealed that she had been borrowing clothes from her mother and maasi, which doesn't fit them but it is perfect for Merchant. She also thanked her sister-in-law for buying her a kaftan during her pregnancy to stay comfortable.

The second hack she shared was to wear larger sizes clothes that nobody is using and give it a sartorial spin according to your taste. “Then it's sorted for you because then, you get clothes from them, which don't fit them but will fit you during your pregnancy and that is exactly what has happened with me,” she said.

“You have to make friends who are slightly chubby before your pregnancy. Before you decide to get pregnant, make these friends,” she brought out the third hack. Her fourth, "very important" hack is having designer friends and your life is "ultra-sorted.”

And fifth, according to Merchant, is having an "awesome sis in law" who sends you clothes that you are comfortable wearing during your pregnancy. "Having a good sister-in-law is very important, guys.," the Ek Hasina Thi and Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar actor noted.

Merchant and Rai are all set to welcome their first baby in August this year. Talking about her embracing motherhood at 40, the soon-to-be mom told Pinkvilla, “I have conceived naturally at 40 and I don’t think that age is a major problem in today’s era in terms of conceiving. Nobody can say that in my case I mean, as I said I conceived naturally at 40 and I think it’s fantastic. I believe 40 is the new 30. There’s nothing to worry about is what I really want to tell women. You can get married at 35, 36 or whenever like I did and have your babies too whenever you feel like.”
