Kishwer Merchant And Suyyash Rai Blessed With Baby Boy, Share First Picture

Kishwer Merchant Baby: The actor gave birth to her baby boy on August 27. Merchant shared a picture of her cuddling with her new born and her husband Suyyash Rai on social media.

She captioned the picture as, "27.08.21 ❤️ welcome BABY RAI!!! It's a boy👦🏼 #sukishkababy." The couple had announced their pregnancy in March this year. The actor had then posted on her social media, "You can now stop asking, ‘When are you guys gonna have a baby?’ Coming soon…”

Her husband, Suyyash Rai had written, " Mai tere bacche ka baap banne wala hun, Kishwer! Coming this August." The actor was seen flaunting her baby bump in the announcement picture as she posed with her husband on a beach. Rai was seen on his knees cradling Merchant's baby bump. The sand on the beach had " August 2021" written on it with a pair of baby shoes placed.

Talking to media about her decision to become a mother at the age of 40, the actor had said that she thinks age is not a major problem in today's era in terms of conceiving. She said, " I conceived naturally at 40 and I think it's fantastic."

She added that 40 is the new 30. Addressing the women her age, she said that there is nothing to worry, " You can get married at 35, 36 or whenever like I did and have your babies too whenever you feel like." Suyyash Rai had then said that he and his wife want a healthy baby but if he were to make a choice then he would want a boy. " Also because I really will get him to play cricket and do those things that I missed out on as a child."

He said that Kishwer wants a girl, " But moreover, I just want my child to be happy, healthy, and grow up in a nice and joyous environment."
