The Melbourne raised chef always had a passion for sharing her Bengali recipes with the world. For the same, she appeared on the Australian MasterChef platform in which she showcased all the recipes handed down to her by her loved ones.

Who Is Kishwar Chowdhury:

The 38-year-old participant of the cooking reality show MasterChef Australia was born to Laila and Kamrul Chowdhury, who too were enthusiasts of cooking. They are also the founders of the Bangladeshi community in Victoria.

Chowdhuri completed her education with a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Monash University before completing a post-graduate degree in Graphic Design from the University of the Arts in London.

Later, she established multiple stints in Germany and Bangladesh, following which she returned to Melbourne in 2015. After preparations, she made it into the 13th season of the said reality show with her green mango broth, served with black lentils, beetroot and blood orange bhorta.

Chowdhuri, who is a mother of two, mentioned on Instagram that her style of cooking is "home food that nourishes the soul and makes sure there are no leftovers on her kid's plate".

Her understanding of spices and ingredients comes from her experience of living on three different continents for several years, she said.

She is reportedly inspired by the Malaysian-born Australian cook Poh Ling Yeow, who is also an artist and author and a contestant on MasterChef Australia during one of its early seasons.

"Every time Poh cooks something, it’s delicious and it’s amazing. And it is, to me, the best food ever in that kitchen. Poh! You’re my dream come true," Kishwar said on her inspiration, as per a report by DailyMail.
