Divyanka Tripathi
Television actor Tripathi, best known for her work in daily drama soap Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, was spotted at the Mumbai airport, leaving for Cape Town for the shoot on Friday morning. Husband Vivek Dahiya accompanied her to the airport to see her off. Tripathi also shared a note for her husband on Instagram. “As I tread ahead to achieve dreams, I leave behind some in you,” she wrote, adding that she misses him.
Tripathi and Dahiya tied the knot in 2016 and a year after they participated in Nach Baliye 8 and emerged as winners. On the work front, Tripathi was last seen hosting Crime Patrol.
Nikki Tamboli
Tamboli, who bagged the second runner-up title on Bigg Boss 14, confirmed her participation on Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 with a post on Thursday. She recently lost her brother to COVID-19 but went back to work and confessed that it was difficult after losing a loved one. Tamboli said that she would be joining the team with the hope that her brother would be watching over her as a guardian angel. Along with the long note, she attached a photo of herself in the Khatron Ke Khiladi jacket.
Tamboli had tested positive for coronavirus and recovered in April.
" I am at that stage of my life right now where I have my family who is struggling hard to overcome the loss on one hand and where I have my work commitments...where I am at the peak of my career on the other..." Tamboli wrote in her post.
Tamboli was the youngest contestant in the history of the reality show Bigg Boss, and now, she is all ready to reunite with her former housemates Rahul Vaidya and Abhinav Shukla, whose wife and Bigg Boss 14 winner Rubina Dilaik is recovering from COVID-19.
Sana Makbul
The Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon actor is another confirmed contestant this year. In a recent interview, she shared that she has always been a fan of the adventurous thrills and was preparing herself for the dangerous stunts that will come on her way. She also shared her excitement about working with Rohit Shetty.
Starting her career in the television industry with Ishaan: Sapno Ko Awaaz De, Makbul has come a long way in a decade with shows like Kitani Mohabbat Hai 2, Arjun, Vish, and Aadat Se Majboor. She has also worked in the Southern film industry apart from her work on television.
Shweta Tiwari
The popular television actor was also seen at the airport leaving for the shoot in Cape Town. The actor has been making headlines for her physical transformation. She had recently posted pictures showing off her toned abs. Last seen in Mere Dad Ki Dulhan, Tiwari recently opened up about her separation from her husband Abhinav Kohli, and the subsequent public feud they've been engaged in, over her daughter, Palak, also made headlines.
Mahekk Chahal
Apart from these television faces, Bollywood actor and Bigg Boss 5 runner-up Mahekk Chahal will return to reality shows after a long time with KKK 11. She recently opened up about her breakup with actor Ashmit Patel, saying that after living with someone, you realise who they really are, and she discovered that Patel wasn’t the “right person” for her.
Chahal was the finalist on Bigg Boss season 5 and lost the trophy to Juhi Parmar. She made her film debut in Nayee Padosan and has also been seen in Wanted.
Aastha Gill
Singer Aastha Gill, who shot to fame when she did playback with rapper Badshah in the song DJ Wale Babu, will also feature in Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 11. Gill is also known for churning out pop hits like Buzz, Naagin, Proper Patola among many.
Anushka Sen
Jhansi ki Rani fame Sen will be the youngest contestant to ever participate in the show. A few days ago she confirmed her participation and expressed that it is the only show she loves to watch as an actor and it would be a great opportunity for her to show a different side of herself.
