Karan Mehra Accuses Ex-Wife Nisha Rawal Of Having An Extramarital Affair

Television actor Karan Mehra conducted a press conference on August 4 evening and made some serious accusations against his ex-wife, actor Nisha Rawal. The actor, mostly known for playing the role of Naitik on hit daily soap Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, has alleged that his former wife is having an affair. In addition, he also alleged that he was physically abused by Rawal's new partner.

Karan Mehra and Nisha Rawal, who have a son together, made news in 2021 when they announced their separation. Ever since, the ex-couple have often attacked one another by making controversial claims about each other. This latest press conference by Mehra comes after Rawal had accused him of having an extramarital affair.

Nisha Rawal extramarital affair allegations: What did Karan Mehra say?

Mehra accused Rawal of having an extra-marital affair with a man named Rohit Sethia. "He has been a part of our lives for a very long time. He pretended to be Nisha's rakhi brother and also performed her kanyadaan, and I never imagined that they would plot something like this together," Mehra said during the press conference. He further alleged that Sethia was staying at his house with Rawal, along with the couple's young son, "which raises numerous moral concerns."

Additionally, Mehra revealed that he and his family have been receiving death threats from unidentified individuals. He stated that he had already sent an email with a complaint about the situation to the authorities. "Death threats have been coming from unknown caller ID numbers. I often don't answer these calls. But the other day, the phone rang while I was resting, and I answered without checking who was calling and received a death threat," Mehra revealed, adding that death threats are also being made against my mother, father, and his brother Kunal.

Mehra further revealed that in November of last year, Sethia allegedly questioned Mehra about entering his own home and asked him if he had a court order to do so, so that he could meet his son. In addition, he said that Sethia had physically assaulted him yet again.

Meanwhile, Rawal has refused to give any response to Mehra's accusations. She said, "I'm not making any remarks about that. I am aware that he held a press conference, but I cannot keep countering every statement he makes."

Karan Mehra and Nisha Rawal's Marital Dispute:

After six years of dating, Mehra married Rawal on November 24, 2012. In 2017, the couple welcomed a son. In 2021,  Rawal filed a complaint against Karan Mehra at Goregaon Police Station. As a result, the actor was detained on May 31, 2021. However, he was shortly released on bail.

Later, Rawal claimed that Mehra was having an extramarital affair and accused him of domestic abuse while speaking to the media. According to her, Mehra was in a relationship with a Delhi-based woman and was thus spending less time with his family.
