Kangana Ranaut Wishes Her Thalaivi Co-star Madhoo Shah On Her Birthday

Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut wished her Thalaivi co-star Madhoo Shah on her birthday. She posted the poster of her upcoming film Thalaivi and wished her a 'happy birthday' on her Instagram story.

Thalaivi is a film based on the life of the late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa. The film will showcase her transition from being an actor to becoming a politician. The film has been directed by AL Vijay, and Kangana Ranaut will be portraying Jayalalithaa on the big screen. Other than Ranaut, the female cast of the film comprises of some notable actors such as Bhagyashree, Poorna and Madhoo.

Shah will be portraying former Chief Minister MG Ramachandran’s wife Janaki Ramachandran in the film. Janaki was an important political figure who went on to become the chief minister of Tamil Nadu after her husband passed away.

Madhoo spoke about how important her character was in a recent interview. “I am doing a biopic for the first time, and of someone who is a renowned personality. Janaki Amma and Jayalalitha Amma have very few scenes together in the film as Thalaivi is mainly based on Jayalalithaa and MGR’s relationship and political career. However, Janaki is an important character, which gives a different twist to the film’s story,” she said.
