Kangana Ranaut tests negative for COVID: Actor Kangana Ranaut recently revealed that she tested negative for COVID-19. She shared the news on her Instagram stories on Tuesday. Ranaut had tested positive on May 8.

Addressing the backlash she had faced for her COVID post, the actor added that she doesn't want to speak anything against the coronavirus as it may "offend" a section of people. Taking to her IG stories, the Queen actor wrote, “I want to say a lot about how I beat the virus but I am told not to offend covid fan clubs."

In her previous post, that was later deleted  by Instagram, Ranaut had referred to the deadly disease as nothing but a "small-time flu".

The actor had revealed she was self-quarantining at her home in Mumbai, assuring fans that she will “destroy and demolish” the virus.

Ranaut had also written in her post that people should not give coronavirus any “power” over them. “If you are scared it will scare you more,” the actor had said that coronavirus got too much press and now “psyching” few people. Last week, she had landed into trouble over her post about testing positive. She claimed that her post was taken down by Instagram and said that it must have been reported by the "Covid fan club".

She recently made headlines after her Twitter account was permanently suspended for violating the rules of the platform earlier this month. Although, she has been posting regularly on Instagram. Reacting to her permanent suspension from Twitter, Ranaut told IANS that Twitter has only proved her point that Americans always feel entitled to enslave a brown person.

On the work front, Ranaut will be seen in Thalaivi as J Jayalalithaa, which is now postponed owing to the coronavirus surge. She also has Tejas and Dhaakad lined up. She also announced a film under her banner Manikarnika Films titled Tiku Weds Sheru.
