Leave Him Alone: Kangana Ranaut On Kartik Aaryan-Karan Johar Controversy

Kangana Ranaut Supports Kartik Aaryan: Thalaivi actor Kangana Ranaut took to Twitter on April 16 to express her support for Kartik Aaryan soon after Karan Johar’s Dharma productions officially announced that there will be a recast for Dostana 2.

Actor Kartik Aaryan had reportedly already shot a few portions of Dostana 2 alongside actor Janhvi Kapoor when news of this recast was announced by the production team. The announcement of recasting came hours after rumours of how there was a rift between Kartik Aaryan and the makers of the film began doing rounds on social media.

Various reports surfaced on the media that claimed that Aaryan’s unprofessional behaviour on set upsets the makers which led up to the situation of recasting in Dostana 2. Soon after the reports, Dharma Productions released a statement confirming that there will be a recasting of the film.

After the news broke, Kangana Ranaut posted several tweets targetting Johar and defending Aaryan. She tweeted that Aaryan has come really far on his own and will continue to. The Thalaivi actor also told Aaryan to “not be scared”. She also requested “papa jo” (Karan Johar) and his “nepo gang club” to leave Aaryan alone and to not go after him like late actor Sushant Singh Rajput who allegedly died suicide in June 2020.

“Leave him alone you vultures, get lost chindi nepos...Kartik no need to be scared of these chillars.... after doing nasty articles and releasing announcements blaming only your attitude for fall out this moron wants to maintain dignified silence. They spread same stories of drug addiction and unprofessional behaviour for SSR also." Ranaut tweeted.

Dostana 2 is a sequel to Dostana, a 2008 romantic-comedy that was produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions that featured Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles.
