Jacqueline Fernandez birthday: Jacqueline Fernandez's journey into Bollywood has been quite a fascinating one. The Sri Lankan beauty made her debut in 2009 with the commercially unsuccessful film Aladin with Riteish Deshmukh and Amitabh Bachchan. However, she became one of the most talked-about celebrities of the industry after starring in a song titled Dhanno from Housefull. She has also been a part of some action-packed dramas like Race 2 and the superhit film Kick with Salman Khan, and will next be seen in a horror-comedy with Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor, titled Bhoot Police.

With so much to her credit, Fernandez has now managed to add another feather to her cap as she will soon be making her Hollywood debut with an anthology film titled Women’s Stories. Reportedly, the film consists of six segments, each one of which will be helmed by women directors from across the world and will have an all-women cast. Fernandez will star in filmmaker Leena Yadav's segment, Sharing a Ride.

1. The Sri Lankan actor was born in Manama, Bahrain. Mumbai has become Fernandez's permanent home now, and she owns a luxurious apartment in Bandra. Her home was redecorated by Shah Rukh Khan's wife Gauri Khan who is a noted interior designer.

2. Fernandez is also quite active on social media and from the uploaded pictures and video, it is evident that the actor has quite a knack for dancing. She has also mastered the skill of pole dancing. The first time fans got to see her nail some of the most difficult pole dancing moves were in the film A Gentleman opposite Sidharth Malhotra.

3. Did you know Jacqueline Fernandez was a street racer? As per reports, the actor was a real-life street racer during her days in Bahrain and she claims that she and a friend would be the only girls taking part in street races and even winning a few times. She went on to star in a street racing film Drive opposite late Sushant Singh Rajput.

4. As per another report, Fernandez is a Mass Communication graduate and she even worked as a television reporter for some time. Her reporting task was majorly in Sri Lanka, soon after she which took up modelling and was crowned Miss Sri Lanka Universe in 2006. Interestingly, she even hosted some shows on television at the age of fourteen.

5. Fernandez has been taking horse riding lessons at the Amateur Riders' Club, a private riding club in Mumbai and posts about it regularly on Instagram.
