The name of their second child Exa Dark Sideræl, Grimes said in an interview, incorporates multiple references to space and technology. She said Exa refers to supercomputing; Sideræl, a more "elven" spelling of sidereal -- this word means involving distant stars -- and Dark, for "the unknown."

"Dark matter is the beautiful mystery of our universe," said Grimes. She also agrees that her daughter might feel like changing her name in the future. She also wants her daughter to stay away from the public spotlight. "The best situation here is me training the girl and him training the boy," she told Vanity Fair at her home in Austin, Texas.

Elon Musk also recently announced that he is semi-separated with Grimes. They, however, remain best friends.

"We see each other all the time... We just have our own thing going on, and I don't expect other people to understand it,” Grimes said, as per a report.

A lot of netizens took to Twitter to express their surprise at the unusual selection of the name. Some said that they have named their baby after a chromosome. Another predicted that the third baby will be called Z. Another one wrote that she is a girl and not a spaceship.
