The comedy-drama series premiered in 2021 on February 24 and became a great hit with 52 million subscribers viewing it within the first 28 days of its release worldwide. With such a great response from viewers, the series was naturally renewed for season two, just two months after it started streaming.

Geaorgia's daughter, while appreciating her mother's efforts to raise her two kids, doesn't approve of her life decisions as she considers her mom to be immature. As a result of Georgia's failed romantic pursuits, the family is constantly on the more. So when Georgia moves to New England, in order to improve the life of her children, they are not sure how this new beginning will turn out for them.

The series has been created by Sarah Lamport and produced by Claire Welland. It features Brianne Howey, Antonia Gentry, Diesel La Torraca, Felix Mallard, Jennifer Robertson, Sara Waisglass, Raymond Ablack and Scott Porter in pivotal roles. Ginny and Georgia captures the problematic early life of Georgia, the mistakes she makes while choosing partners for herself, and the discrimination and bullying young children face due to their social standing.

Ginny And Georgia will be back with a season 2 soon as the filming of the new season reportedly started back in November 2021. The shooting, taking place in Toronto and Coburg, Ontario is expected to end by April 2022. It is being said that season 2 of the show will see the Millers deal with an unexpected return of one of Georgia's past lovers, which could uproot the family and put them on the move yet again, much to the dislike of Ginny.
