Set to appear in yet another social drama film of her career, after Shaadi Mein Zaroor Ana, Kriti Kharbanda's journey from being the face of South films to appearing opposite Vikrant Massey in the Bollywood comedy film 14 Phere is notable. Here is a look at who is Kriti Kharbanda.

Model Turned Actor Kriti Kharbanda, Who Is She?

Predominantly known for her work in Kannada and Telugu language films, the Housefull 4 actor debuted in 2009 with the Telugu film Boni.

Excited for the trailer release, Kharbanda, taking to her Twitter handle on July 11, shared a picture of herself with the caption, "#14phere trailer out tomorrow!"

According to the trailer of the movie, Kharbanda will play the role of a bully who falls in love with Vikrant Massey's character, a naive yet charming student of the institution.

The receiver of the South Indian International Movie Award (SIIMA) and nominated for the Filmfare Award South two times, the 30-year-old actor began her career as a model.

Born to a Punjabi family, and brought up in Delhi, she later moved to Bangalore with her family in the early 1990s. Kharbanda, who holds a diploma in jewellery designing, revealed that she was very active in cultural activities during her school days.

During her school and college days, she was also featured in a number of advertisements and said that she had initially no plans of becoming an actor and that it was only because of her mother's encouragement that she considered it seriously. She stated that she used to love doing advertisements.

Kriti Kharbanda has made her relationship with Pulkit Samrat, her co-star from Veerey Ki Wedding, Pagalpanti and Taish, official on social media. Samrat and Kharbanda both have put up several posts for each other on their individual accounts.
