10 Unique Facts That You Must Know About 14 Phere Star Kriti Kharbanda

Interesting facts about Kriti Kharbanda: Kriti Kharbanda and Vikrant Massey, play the lead in the recently released film 14 Phere. The film had an OTT release on July 23 and has been talked about for addressing societal issues like caste prejudice and gender discrimination.

Talking about the film, Kharbanda earlier said that she liked the script and that's the primary reason for taking up the film. She said she fell in love with the characters and genuinely wanted to know what will happen in their lives which made her decision-making process quite easy. The actor also added how Aditi has become a part of her personality in multiple ways.

1. The model-turned-actor is known for her work in Kannada and Telugu language films. Kharbanda started her career as a child actor. Born to a Punjabi family, she was brought up in Delhi.

2. After moving to Bengaluru in the early 1990s, she developed her love for performing and featured in numerous advertisements following some modelling campaigns as a child. She continued modelling and acting in television commercials throughout high school and college and appeared for Bhima Jewelers, Fair and Lovely, and Spar, which gave her the exposure and director Raj Pippala happened to see her face plastered across a billboard, quoted Radiocity.in.

3. The Housefull 4 actor debuted in 2009 with the Telugu film Boni but prior to that, she earned a diploma in jewellery designing. The 30-year-old completed her schooling in Bengaluru’s and later attended Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College and gained a jewel designing diploma. She shared with the New Indian Express that she still wishes to become a jewellery designer in the future. She expressed saying that she would love to let out her creative energy while also acting in different genres. "But I might just take up jewelry designing when I decide to stop acting in films,” she shared.

4. She acquired stardom in Kannada and Tamil films, and eventually making her Bollywood debut in the fourth instalment of the Raaz franchise, named Raaz: Reboot, opposite Emraan Hashmi.

5. Kharbanda has been in the business of films across four Indian languages, for a decade. She has starred in over 25 feature films, with some of her most notable works including Googly in 2013, Super Ranga in 2014, 2015's Bruce Lee – The Fighter (2015). But with some smart choices in the Hindi film industry, the young actor has acquired an immense fan following and admiration for her work.

6. In May 2016, she was voted Bangalore's Most Desirable Woman and also as one of the hottest women in India.

7. Kharbanda has so far acted in films Bollywood films like Guest Iin London, Pagalpanti, Housefull 4 and Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana in 2017. Her last two outings were Veere Di Wedding and Taish, which starred Pulkit Samrat.

8. Kharbanda has been dating actor Pulkit Samrat for a while and she refused to divulge any further details about her own wedding. Talking to ET, she had earlier explained about the relationship by saying, "I think there’s a time for everything when you’re comfortable talking about it.” she shared. “I’m in a very happy place and I have no qualms admitting that I am dating Pulkit Samrat,” she had shared.

9. She believes in keeping up with a healthy lifestyle, becoming a great source of inspiration to give out major fitness goals for younger actors and fans. She revealed to the Times of India. “The best quality about me is that I am a straightforward person. While many consider this a negative quality, this is what I like most about me. As for my physical attributes, I’d say my eyes and smile.”

10. The 30-year-old actor won two notable awards: the South Indian International Movie Award (SIIMA) and was nominated for the Filmfare Award South two times.
