Dua Lipa Opens Up About Her Relationship Status Amid Trevor Noah Dating Rumours

Singer-songwriter Dua Lipa opened up about her relationship status and confirmed that she was single amid rumours that she was dating comedian Trevor Noah.

On the latest episode of her podcast Dua Lipa: At Your Service, the 27-year-old musician was in conversation with podcast guest and fellow singer Charli XCX. Lipa said, “this is the first year I’ve not been in a relationship for a very long time.”

Dua Lipa Confirms She Is Single

Lipa added, “It’s been really great to just be alone and only think about myself and kind of be quite selfish”. She spoke about not having the “opportunity” to focus on herself in recent years.

It is not clear when the episode in question was recorded.

Last week, Lipa and Noah sparked rumours when they went on a dinner date in New York City. The two were spotted sharing a meal together in a restaurant.

Photographs of the duo were obtained by the Daily Mail and the photographs showed the two sitting next to each other. An eyewitness told the outlet, “It was clear they were into each other”.

An eyewitness spoke with Entertainment Tonight (ET) and said Lipa and Noah appeared to be “in their own little world”. The eyewitness added that the comedian had the musician “laughing a few times too”.

After leaving the restaurant, the two stepped out into the street and went on a walk. Bystanders saw them walking close to each other as they talked, hugged, and kissed.

Lipa’s previous public relationship was with the model Anwar Hadid, the younger brother of models Gigi and Bella Hadid. After dating for two years, the couple broke up in December 2021. She said that “the next chapter of my life is about truly being good with being alone” in the June/July 2022 issue of Vogue.

She also documented herself going out on solo dates and said, "I want to know I can just be there for myself, you know?"
