Drishyam 2 Twitter Review: Audience Is Loving The Suspense Thriller

Ajay Devgn starrer Dhrishyam 2 was released yesterday and people are loving the suspense thriller and the performances of the film. The first part of this film series was released 7 years and it was a massive hit.

This time the suspense is a little more say the viewers who reviewed it on Twitter. But many also pointed out that it has quite blindly copied its Telegu original of the same name. Actor Mohanlal had done a great job playing Vijay in the original film and some seem to be still smitten by his performance. The new one features Bollywood actors like Tabu, Akshaye Khanna and Shriya Saran in key roles. Directed by Abhishek Pathak the film was targeted to reach a Rs 50 crore mark on the opening day box office but was able to make it to Rs 15 crore yesterday.

A Twitter user commented saying that he liked the film and gave it four stars, he also wrote, "DRISHYAM 2 is Simply Brilliant an Edge-of-the-seat Suspense thriller which will keep you engaged throughout its duration. @ajaydevgn Outstanding Performance.. Akshaye Khanna Impactful.. @AbhishekPathakk Excellent Direction."

Another viewer who seemed to be very pleased with the film, wrote, "Drishyam 2 is excellent movie what a thriller movie must watch movie #Drishyam2 One word review outstanding." A Twitter user who watched the film yesterday rated the film nine out of ten and said, "First 80% of the film is engaged in setting the plot but it is worth it because in the last all the dots connect. Absolutely engaging movie. Amazing realistic acting by all the actors & Jeetu Joseph is one of the best writer for sure".

A set of reviewers said that they didn't quite like the performances of the lead actor Ajaya Devgn, they said on Twitter, "The movie despite the amazing performance And the good direction Lacks the depth in the story Entertaining hai Yet kuch toh missing that..." A fan of Ajay Devgn has written about his performances in recent releases and said, "I was afraid to even predict this would work after seeing Vikram Vedha collection with universally positive reviews! But damn...Ajay made a comeback! A great film Runway 34 + A successful venture Drishyam 2 (both critically acclaimed) Waah! Thank God maaf hai waise bhi cameo hai."
