To Avoid Clash With 'Satyaprem Ki Katha', 'Dream Girl 2' Gets A New Release Date

Ayushmann Khurrana is enjoying himself after receiving praise for his performance in the recent movie Doctor G. Ayushmann portrayed a doctor at a gynaecological department of a medical college in Anubhuti Kashyap's film. While Doctor G is still playing in theatres, Ayushmann's most recent movie announcement has also generated a lot of interest among his fans.

Dream Girl 2, which is being produced by Ekta Kapoor, will now be released earlier. The movie, which stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday, had a clash with Sajid Nadiadwala's Satyaprem Ki Katha and had its release date pushed back from June 29.

Dream Girl 2 New Release Date

A teaser for the upcoming sequel to the hugely successful movie Dream Girl was recently released by the producers. Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Pandey's Dream Girl 2 is scheduled to release in theatres on June 23, 2023. Ekta Kapoor decided to prepone the release date of her movie from June 29, 2023, to June 23, 2023, when she learned that Sajid Nadiadwala's Satya Prem ki Katha, starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, is scheduled to release on the same day as Dream Girl 2.

Dream Girl 2 is one of the most anticipated movies of the upcoming year.  For the film, Ayushmannn and Ananya are working together for the first time, and they are presently shooting in Mumbai. Dream Girl 2 will, according to the film's creators, be a laugh-out-loud comedy with plenty of fun.

The upcoming comedy-drama will also feature Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Manoj Joshi, Vijay Raaz, Seema Pahwa, and Rajpal Yadav in addition to Ayushmann and Ananya. It will be directed by Raaj Shaandilya and produced by ALT Entertainment and Balaji Motion Pictures. The leading lady in the first part was Nushrratt Bharuccha.

On the other side, Satyaprem Ki Katha will be jointly produced by NGE and Namah Pictures. Kiara Advani has previously revealed the movie's scheduling warp two weeks prior. Director Sameer Vidwans, whose films have won national awards, will helm it.

Apart from the work front, Ayushmann Khurrana and Tahira Kashyap recently hosted a lavish Diwali party for celebs. A list of guests included people like Ali Fazal, Richa Chadha, and Taapsee Pannu.
