Dipti Dhyani Shaves Her Head For Spouse Sooraj Thapar, Shares Photos In New Look

Actor Dipti Dhyani shocked her fans when she shaved her head. She posted a photo of herself with a shaven head and explained that she did it for her husband, actor Sooraj Thapar. Last year, while Thapar was in the ICU after getting COVID-19, his wife promised to donate her hair to Tirupati Balaji.

The actor-duo shared the transformation through a reel on their Instagram, with a caption that reads, "Transformation... it's Love. No one does it for you in this World... Its PURE Love ."

Actor Sooraj Thapar who was hospitalised last year during the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic was in a critical condition since his health deteriorated owing to complications from coronavirus infection. The doctors had informed her that 60% of Thapar's lungs were damaged because of the infection which rendered her feel helpless.

Dhyani, at the time, visited temples and prayed to every god she could think of. She also vowed to donate her hair to the coveted Tirupati Balaji shrine. She went on to add that Thapar had recovered and was now in good health. As a result, she decided to keep her word.

 Dhyani is recognised for her roles in the films Kairi: Rishta Khatta Meetha (2012) and Chandragupta Maurya (2011).  Many people were surprised by her decision because she had been planning to return to acting after a nine-year hiatus.

Thapar, her husband, stated, "Because of the pandemic, most of us have gone through a horrible time, both personally and financially. As a result, returning to work was a sensible decision. Due to the fact that our younger kid was still quite young, Dipti had previously been unable to resume acting. But, once our children were old enough to care for themselves, she made the decision to return to work. In fact, she had begun to receive offers."

In his interview, Thapar also revealed that she put her job on hold and went forward with her choice to shave her head because she felt that jaan hai toh jahaan hai. Thapar expressed his gratitude to his wife, saying that he considers himself blessed to have her as his wife. "She is looking really gorgeous and prettier than before," Thapar continued.
