Anushka Sharma lifts Virat Kohli: Taking to her Instagram on Wednesday, new mom Anushka Sharma shared behind-the-scenes footage of what appears to be a shoot of a commercial in which she lifts Virat Kohli off the floor, twice.

Sharma's husband and cricketer Kohli can be seen expressing surprise when his wife visibly lifts him off the ground. “Ooh teri,” the cricketer says in the video. He then asks Sharma to do it again and she does it without any help and requests her husband, "Don't lift yourself, promise?".

"Did I do it?" the actor captioned the video.

Sharma recently hit back at toxicity on social media and shared a tweet initially posted by Steven Bartlett which read, “Social media is full of people that can spot toxic behaviour in everyone but themselves. The world doesn’t need more critics, it needs more self-awareness.” She shared the tweet on her Instagram stories.

Sharma and Kohli welcomed their first child in January this year. They shared their baby daughter's name - Vamika - on the occasion of International Women’s Day. “Seeing the birth of a child is the most spine chilling, unbelievable and amazing experience a human being can have. After witnessing that, you understand the true strength and divinity of women and why God created life inside them. It’s because they are way stronger than us men," Kohli had written in his Instagram post. He further called his wife "fiercely" and "compassionate" and hailed the strong woman of his life and "the one who’s going to grow up to be like her mother," referring to his newborn daughter.

After a brief break from work, the new mother resumed working this month. Last year, she co-produced the Netflix film Bulbbul and the Amazon Prime Video show Paatal Lok with her production house Clean Slate Films. On the other hand, her husband Kohli will soon participate in the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League. The opening game of this yearly tournament is between defending champions Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) that is led by Kohli, on Friday (April 9) in Chennai.
