Dia Mirza Jumps On The Bestie Trend With Stepdaughter Samaira Rekhi

Dia Mirza daughter: The mother-daughter duo took to Mirza's official Instagram account on July 19 to share a video of themselves performing on "my bestie" trend video.

In the video, Mirza and Rekhi can be seen matching the trendy dance steps on Justin Wellington's Iko Iko, in matching white tees, blue denim and white sports shoes. At the end of the video, Rekhi falls down playfully adding their own twist to the famous Instagram trend.

The video garnered over 134,177 likes in less than 24 hours and users flooded the comment section with "cuties" adding red-heart eye emojis.

Celebrities including Bipasha Basu and Rasika Duggal also commented on the said post. Basu commented "cuties" with a red heart on the video, Diana Penty commented, "the sweetest", others like Esha Gupta, Sanya Malhotra and Duggal left reactions on the post among others.

Dia Mirza Welcomed Avyaan In May

Mirza welcomed her child Avyaan earlier this year along with Vaibhav Rekhi. Samaira Rekhi is Vaibhav's daughter from his earlier marriage with Sunaina Rekhi.

The couple tied the knot this year, in a Vedic wedding ceremony. Following the same, she announced that she was pregnant with her baby boy Avyaan who was born prematurely. However, he had a healthy C-section surgery, which Mirza confirmed in an Instagram post, "Having arrived early, our little miracle has since then been cared for by tireless nurses and doctors in the Neonatal ICU," she wrote.

Dia Mirza On The Work Front

Majorly known for her Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein along with R Madhavan, the 39-year-old actor last appeared in debutant director Ashishor Solomon's Wild Dog (2021). Earlier, she appeared in Taapsee Pannu starrer Thappad in the role of Shivani Fonseca.
