The filmmaker said, “From our cop universe, my upcoming movie is Singham. I'm constantly being asked when I'll introduce Lady Singham. So, here it is: Deepika Padukone will play Lady Singham in Singham Again. We're going to start working on it together in the next year; she is my lady bomb from the cop universe.”

Ranveer Singh will also be in this movie, the director revealed, adding, "You're like aloo (potato), you'll be there in every film." Singh stars in the Simmba franchise and previously appeared in Suryavanshi, which starred Akshay Kumar in the lead role.

In Current Laga Re, the couple shows off their chemistry; it's been a while since they've collaborated on a dance song. Singh said that working with Padukone was a fun experience. Padukone stated that on set, they are not a husband-and-wife but rather two actors who are completely immersed in their roles. Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani, Padmaavat, Finding Fanny, and 83 were among the films on which the couple teamed up.
