The trailer for Cuttputli, a forthcoming surprise release on Disney+ Hotstar, has been released recently. In the movie, Akshay Kumar plays a cop searching for a serial killer in the small town of Kasauli.

The trailer reveals how the killer has already claimed two victims and dumped their bodies in open areas, including a bench at a viewpoint and a large drain pipe. Cuttputli Plot

The synopsis of Cuttputli is as follows: "Set in the quaint hill station town of Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh, newly inducted sub-inspector Arjan Sethi (Akshay Kumar) encounters a series of gruesome killings. Intrigued by the recurring pattern of the murders, Sethi embarks on a thrilling roller coaster ride where he seeks to find the link between the murders and the face behind them. During his investigations, the murderer’s presence rings closer to home as his life, family, and love face the killer's ire in a twisted turn of fate. In this race against time whodunnit thriller, unlocking the mind of a murderer is the only key to unmasking his identity and motive. But can Arjun Sethi rise to the task?"

Will a small-town cop be able to apprehend the murderer before he commits another crime? The town has been plagued by serial killings. In Kasauli, the superstar Akshay Kumar teams up with Rakul Preet Singh, Sargun Mehta, and Chandrachur Singh, among others, to take audiences on the investigative police officer's journey as he uses his knowledge and enthusiasm to uncover a number of wrongdoings in Kasauli. Through a special Cuttputli act by Akshay Kumar, the movie's trailer was unveiled in Mumbai recently in a way that was both intriguing and distinctive.

Arjan Sethi, played by Akshay Kumar, is a devoted sub-inspector who took a pledge to protect the residents of Kasauli. But fate has other plans as the killer strikes in the cover of darkness, leaving only a body and no sign of his or her actions. Directed by Ranjit M. Tewari, produced by Vashu and Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Pooja Entertainment, using Arjan's skills to understand the killer's psyche, Cuttputli reveals the culprit and solves the mystery.
