The spy thriller Citadel's official trailer has been released and gives us a glimpse of Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden as spies working for an independent international spy agency. The former partners who had their memories wiped in a deadly explosion have to embark on a new mission.
The ">trailer shows Chopra and Madden as elite agents Nadia Sinh and Mason Kane. Stanley Tucci joins the cast as their former colleague who tracked down Madden's character.

- The Citadel spy series promises to be an action-packed series with a lot of emotional sides to it. The makers of the series have described it as a “multi-layered global franchise with interconnected local language productions from India, Italy and Mexico.”
- Avengers: Endgame directors Anthony and Joe Russo will be directing the series.
- Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden will have lead roles in the series. They are the first lead actors whose names were announced by Amazon Studios. Chopra will be seen as a spy in the series.
- The local productions of the series will be set in India, Mexico and Italy.
- Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. will be developing the Indian series, produced by Amazon Studios. The Indian version of the series will star Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
- The Russo brothers Anthony and Joe were quite exhilarated while talking about Priyanka Chopra. They jointly felt that she would be 'amazing' for the spy series. “She’s an incredible star. I mean I think she has been amazing. We just had a table read of the show a couple of days ago and it was fantastic. We are so proud of that show. We are excited for audiences to see it. We are just beginning production on it now," said Joe Russo in an interview.
- Patrick Moran, the ex-president of ABC Studios had closed the deal on Citadel with Amazon in October. He was the one who cast Chopra in the American drama Quantico.
